Mumbai-based startup Snabbit, a quick-service app connecting households with skilled home service professionals, has raised $5.5 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Elevation Capital, with additional backing from Nexus Venture Partners and angel investors Vidit Aatrey, Sanjeev Barnwal, Gaurav Munjal, and Niraj Singh.

This marks a significant milestone for Snabbit, which previously secured $1 million in seed funding from Nexus Venture Partners in early 2024. The fresh capital will fuel its ambitions to scale operations and transform the way home services are delivered across India.

What is Snabbit?

Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, former chief of staff at Zepto, Snabbit offers on-demand home services for tasks such as cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry. The platform promises unmatched convenience with its 15-minute arrival guarantee, catering to the fast-paced needs of urban households.

Snabbit’s unique full-stack operational model ensures high service quality and workforce empowerment. By managing everything from sourcing and training professionals to providing them with steady income, health insurance, and accident coverage, Snabbit addresses critical challenges in the fragmented home services market.

Growth Plans and Vision

Currently operating in select neighborhoods of Mumbai, Snabbit has already amassed thousands of loyal customers through organic growth and word-of-mouth recommendations. The new funding will support Snabbit’s plans to:

  • Expand services to additional cities across India.
  • Enhance its technology and operational efficiency.
  • Bolster its workforce with better training and resources.

“India is an untapped market for high-frequency home services,” said Aayush Agarwal, Founder and CEO. “We’re building a new category that combines speed, reliability, and innovation, setting the stage for rapid growth and nationwide expansion.”

Investor Confidence in Snabbit

Manish Advani, Vice President at Elevation Capital, expressed enthusiasm for Snabbit’s transformative potential.

“Snabbit is a game-changer in the home services sector. By offering quick, affordable, and reliable services through a hyperlocal network, they address consumer pain points while empowering service professionals. We’re excited to support their journey from Mumbai to a pan-India presence,” Advani said.
